The acts of writing and drawing have been largely altered since the arrival of the computer. While the computer is certainly convenient, we have lost something important: hand writing recognition does not have the subtle sensorial experience of writing on paper with tactile pen and aromatic ink. NEC Development team used digital technology to design this tool to enjoy the beauty of writing and to rediscover the importance and wonder of taking time for contemplation. When The feather shaped pen with hand-written information inserted into the main body with a built-in transparent EL display, the recorded information is displayed in the form of flowing ink, and the data is stored.
